‘We Don’t Have Much Time’ was the first piece Max Essa recorded with Yuki Suzuki and what a joyous union it turned out to be. A distinctly muscular bass strides along over a very fat, plodding 105BPM beat. Momentum comes from some excellent rhythm guitar work from Max. House pianos and emotive strings flash in and out before the wonderful sultry vocal from Yuki drops. I would almost go as far as to call this a ‘Garage’ record (Paradise not Speed) with its undeniable panache and heavy purposeful groove.

Jansen Jardin are delighted to have the very talented Neville Watson on board for remix duties. Neville’s productions for the likes of Clone and Hour House Is Your Rush are among some of the best house records released in recent years. His mix of We Don’t Have Much Time is everything we hoped it would be when we first approached him to do the job. Neville ups the tempo and creates a moody percussion driven house track that's has been working dance floors all over Tokyo since it's release. It doesn’t get much better than this.
